Description

Speedo cable connects the speedometer to the transmission. It is designed to function just like the original part to ensure durability and long life. Unlike other car cables, our speedometer cables actually spin around and are used to connect the speedometer gauge on the dashboard to the gearbox. When the vehicle moves, the inner cable transmits the rotational speed to the speedometer and provides the driver with an accurate reading of the car’s road speed. Speedo cables can become worn and will eventually need replacing. If you notice the speedometer functioning poorly or 'flickering', there is a high chance that a replacement cable is needed. It is recommended that you use only high quality speedo cables for any car when fitting a replacement.

Attentions 

Avoid any sharp folds on the speedo cable. Also, make sure your speedometer cable steers clear of the exhaust since the intense heat can damage the cable.

Measurement Instructions

If an inner cable is required, length quoted should be clearly stated as follows: "overall inner cable length = x millimeters". The length of a complete assembly is the overall casing length measured over the ferrules, as illustrated. Length does not include nuts.
